Goedemorgen allemaal,

Vandaag zijn we wederom in Nederland en gaan op bezoek bij Jolanda Wierts een van onze DT dames en al vanaf het begin in ons team. Zij woont met haar man en hond Dex in het mooie Limburg. Zij houdt van knutselen en kaarten maken vooral met de mixed media technieken. Ook maakt zij prachtige bloemstukken. Toch heeft zij aangegeven dat dit de laatste kaart voor ons team zal zijn. Haar jonge hond en haar lichamelijke gesteldheid vergen al haar tijd en hierdoor komt zij vaak niet aan het kaarten maken toe. Vandaar haar keuze om te stoppen.

Jolanda met veel spijt nemen wij afscheid van jou. Bijna 5 jaar was jij een zeer gewaardeerd DT lid en wij zullen jou en jouw werk missen. Veel succes met alles wat je gaat doen en heel erg bedankt voor al jouw mooie werk. Wij wensen je samen met Andy je man, hond Dex, familie en vrienden fijne feestdagen en een heel gelukkig 2018.

Today we are once again in  the Netherlands and going visit at Jolanda Wierts one of our DT ladies right from the beginning in our team. She lives with her husband and dog Dex in the beautiful Limburg. She loves crafting and card making especially with the mixed media techniques. She also makes beautiful flower arrangements. However, she indicated that this will be the last card for our team. Her young dog  and her physical condition take all her time therefor her often failed time to make cards. Hence her choice to stop.

Jolanda with much regret we say goodbye to you. Almost 5 years you were a highly valued DT member and we will miss you and your work. Good luck with everything you're going to do and thank you so much for all your great work. We wish you,

Goedemorgen allemaal,

Na ons bezoek in Nederland zijn we vandaag weer vertrokken naar Australië en hier ontmoeten wij Karen Neil. 
Zij woont in Tasmanië, Haar hobbies zijn naar de sportschool gaan, kaarten maken, scrapbooking, naaien, decoratie schilderen en zij is gek op dansen. Zij maakte deze prachtige kaart voor ons. Karen hartelijk dank voor jouw bijdrage aan onze kerstspecial en dat je onze gast wilde zijn. Wij wensen jou, jouw familie en vrienden een gelukkig kerstfeest en een heel voorspoedig 2018.

Goedemorgen allemaal,

Na ons reisje naar België zijn we vandaag weer in Nederland en gaan we een bezoek brengen aan Monique Schattefor. Zij is 58 jaar en woont in Velden met haar vriend en 2 katten. Wegens gezondheidsproblemen werkt zij niet en heeft hierdoor ook al afscheid moeten nemen van verschillende hobby's. Zij is een van de Nederlandse dames, die in een buitenlands My Besties team zit, de Scrapbookstampsociety. Verder heeft zij als grote hobby dansen.

After our trip to Belgium we are back in the Netherlands and we are going to visit  Monique Schattefor.

She is 58 years old and lives with her friend and 2 cats in the South of the Netherlands.  Because of health problems she doesn't work and had to say goodbye to different hobbies. She is one of the Dutch ladies, who is a DT member of a foreign My Besties Team, the Scrapbookstampsociety. Another big hobby is dancing.

Goedemorgen allemaal,

Na ons bezoek aan Venezuela zijn we nu aangekomen in België. Hier woont ons enig buitenlands DT lid Nans. Zij stelt zichzelf aan jullie voor.

Ik ben Nans en samen met mijn man en 2 kinderen (zoon en dochter) woon ik in een gezellig dorpje in België. Ik werk 3 dagen per week op de HR afdeling van een groot bedrijf.  Creatief bezig zijn, en dan voornamelijk kaarten maken, is voor mij de ideale ontspanning. Mijn vrije uurtjes spendeer ik dan ook heel vaak op m’n hobbyplekje. Ik zit nu ongeveer 4 jaar in dit team en vind het nog steeds leuk om jullie te inspireren met de prachtige collectie van Sherri.

After our visit to Venezuela we are now arrived in Belgium. Here lives our only foreign DT Member Nans. She introduces herselves to you.

My name is Nans and I live in a small town in Belgium together with my husband and 2 children (son and daughter).  I work 3 days a week at the HR department of a large company. Being creative, especially making cards, can be so relaxing. That is why I spend almost every free moment in my hobbyroom. I’m with this team for almost 4 years now and I still enjoy to inspire you with the lovely collection of Sherri.

Na ons bezoek aan Australië zijn we vandaag doorgereisd naar Zuid Amerika waar we te gast zijn bij Maritza Rios. 

Maritza woont in Venezuela en is arts van beroep. Haar hobby is kaarten maken en digi's inkleuren. Verder maakt zij de  prachtigste projecten met papier. Zij is DT lid van het Spaanse - en het Internationale My Besties team.

After our visit to Australia we travelled to South America where we visit Maritza Rios.
Maritza lives in Venezuela and is a medical doctor by profession. Her hobby is create cards and Digi's colorize. Furthermore, she made the most beautiful projects with paper. She is a member of the Spanish and international DT My Besties team.

Goedemorgen allemaal,  Het zijn echt de donkere dagen voor kerstmis. De regen heeft alle sneeuw laten smelten en het is de hele dag koud, nat en donker. Zelfs overdag moet je een lamp aan hebben. Maar gelukkig gaan we vandaag weer een reis maken naar een warm land. Australië.

It's really the dark days for Christmas. The rain has all the snow melt and it's all day

cold, wet and dark. Even during the day, you need  lamplight. But fortunately we go today again make a journey to a warm country. Australia.

Here lives Julie Gleesom. 

She is a stay at home Mum and has 5 kids, ranging in age from 26 down to 6, and a patient Hubby. They live at Macksville on the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia. She loves nothing more than doing crafts for relaxation and enjoyment. She has been making cards for the last 25 years.
She has studied Art full time over 5 years and loves all types of Art and Craft including, Painting, Folk Art, Ceramics, Jewellery, Mosaic, Teddy and Doll Making, Dance Costumes, and more recently Hair Accessories. She is a DT member and coordinator in the 3D and more team and The My Besties Aussie team. Goedemorgen allemaal,

Een nieuwe dag en een nieuwe kaart. De regen valt met bakken uit de lucht en het prachtige sneeuwlandschap verdwijnt in rap tempo. Echt jammer want die sneeuw geeft een mens toch een ultiem kerstgevoel. Maar wij hebben een prachtige nieuwe kaart voor jullie.

Wij zijn vandaag op bezoek bij Corrie een van onze eigen DT dames en weer even terug in Nederland. Corrie van der Velde is de oudste van ons team 73 jaar en woont in het westen van ons land. Zij heeft een zoon, een dochter en een kleindochter. De dochter kennen jullie allemaal, want dat is Cindy, die ook in ons team zit. Of dit nu een geval is van de appel valt niet ver van de boom, of de dochter heeft de moeder besmet, is niet helemaal duidelijk, maar wat wel heel duidelijk is dat zij beide de mooiste kaarten maken. Corrie maakte deze schitterende kaart voor ons. A new day and a new card.  It is violently started to rain and the beautiful snow landscape disappears rapidly. Really too bad because the snow gives us a ultimate Christmas feeling. But fortunately we have a wonderful new card for you. 

Today we are visiting Corrie one of our own DT ladies and we are back in the Netherlands. Corrie van der Velde is the oldest of our team 73 years and lives in the West of our country. She has a son, a daughter and a granddaughter. The daughter know you all, because that is Cindy, who is also in our team. Whether it is a case of the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree, or the daughter has the mother infected, is not entirely clear, but it is very clear that they both make the most beautiful cards. Zij houdt van verschillende technieken. Zij heeft geleerd om met een eenvoudig leven tevreden te zijn. Is getrouwd en heeft een zoon en haar familie is haar inspiratie. Hi I'm Sue I live in the UK I am nearly 64 Married for 44years to a very patient husband ,we have two sons and six grandchildren they do keep us busy lol
I have crafted for as long as I can remember but got into stamping about 15 years ago and I was hooked for a while until I found decoupage and loved it .
I then found I liked colouring as well so the last few years I have been colouring digis
Which helped me onto a few Design Teams.

Today we are again at an other side of the world and we are a guest in South Africa. Here live Desire. She introduces herself. 

It is Desíre Fourie here, your host for this day.  I am a true South African and have been born and bred in this beautiful and amazing country of ours.

Met my best friend and life partner, at the then University of Port Elizabeth on Valentine’s Day in 1983.  We tied the knot in 1984 and have been married for 32+ years.

I am a qualified PA/Executive Secretary/Bookkeeper, a qualified Freelance Photographer and love Gardening, Mosaicking, Crocheting, Hiking and am a keen Spinner at gym. But, the most important is that I am a Scrapaholic and a committed Scrapbook and Cardmaking Teacher.  I have been teaching scrapbooking and cardmaking since 2002.
